I was actually looking at the possibility of creating non "laser" weapons and replacing the "extra"weapons. I'm curious where this seemingly out of nowhere plot is going...

As an aside I'm wondering if engine glows can be utilized somehow to add an ethereal glow surrounding the ship. And/or what would happen if you made the entire model semi-translucent.

No, it definitely would not work lore wise. Missileboat and k-wing as far as I know are the only ships canonically equipped with it. Why not just link the hook updater instead. Then there shouldn't be version mismatch issues since you can copy paste it all in one go. Otherwise why not also update the auto downloader to install and overwrite the files in the xwa root directory automatically?

Also, if your estimate is 1-2 craft per year, 2018 was a bumper year.
