Re: KOTOR opt

Awesome stuff! Great job, Spyder.

I always had a soft spot for the Foray. Great to have it in XWA, especially with the Hammerhead already there.

Re: Civilian, and C-ROC Gozanti Cruiser release

Awesome stuff, what wonderful news. Thanks!

One question though:

Will the Pelta be the clone wars version with closed wings, or the Rebel one with open wings?

As for the two ports, I'll take a stab: The Imperial Station and the Y-8 Mining Ship? :D

Re: Civilian, and C-ROC Gozanti Cruiser release

Probably slightly off topic, but are there any other opts you're currently working on? Just eager to know what's next (That is, if there are new ships, of course).

And here is the full trailer:
YouTube New Solo Trailer

Wonder when the last time was we saw a Star Wars trailer didn't involve the Falcon being chased by TIEs.

Looks interesting though. Probably won't enthrall me like Rogue One and the Sequels did, but it should be solid 2 hour entertainment.

Re: And another one done! Presenting the Rebel Platform

Just to clarify, how does the CRV Razor die? In my tests - which was wtihout the weapons patch - I noticed it was close, but Razor was always out of range of the Kothlis II blast. As far as I know, if you don't ignore the ATRs, that is the only way for the Razor to die. Also, did you intercept the T...

Re: And another one done! Presenting the Rebel Platform

Can only speak for myself, but I wasn't in any way, shape or form sniping at Mark ;) I've been going through some of the other missions in the game, and none of them have the conditions the ships have in B4M05, so I imagine it has something to do with it. I'm going to run some tests this weekend, se...

Re: And another one done! Presenting the Rebel Platform

I should point out here I didn't change anything about the ATRs beyond their waypoints. Having said that, I noticed the ATR behavior too and found it odd. Them firing on each other is indeed an AI thing that can happen on occasion. It's very rare, however. As for them becoming disabled, I think it h...

Re: A few new OPTs

Sorry to necro this old thread, but while trying to find some of the opts I noticed the link was dead.

Since Gammatron isn't active here anymore I was wondering if anyone still has the opt for ATL Interceptor? Was planning to use it in one of my New Republic campaigns :(

There were no bug reports about those and I didn't encounter any, so no altering was necessary.

Re: And another one done! Presenting the Rebel Platform

Both B0M09 and B4M5 have been fixed. Just a matter of setting waypoints and minor repositioning of ships.

In my test runs I had no issues, but if there are any other bugs, be sure to post them.

Re: And another one done! Presenting the Rebel Platform

I've fixed the crashing issues with the ATRs, and another one with the Fey'lya's Pride.

There's still one issue that causes the Rebel platform to detonate prematurely, and thus destroying both the Fey'lya's Pride and Razor. I should have a fixed mission later this day though.

Re: Tour Multiplayer Hook

How is the performance at any rate?

The last time I tried to play XWA Multiplayer there was like a 5 second delay for the non-host player. Could have been just me, I haven't had all that much experience in playing XWA online.

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi

The Galactic Civil War is raging on the XWAU Boards.

Warhawkster needs to join the Rebel Alliance group to make this truly authentic though.

Re: And another one done! Presenting the Rebel Platform

Obviously it's a feature of epic magnitude to add more drama to the campaign. Or perhaps I forgot to change a couple things. Pick one, it'll get fixed when I have a minute. I'll look into it, since there isn't a problem with the opt itself. It's just the missions that need a simple tweak. I've play...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi

I never read WEG RPG, so I don’t know what you’re talking about. I don’t remember seeing any Mon Calamari cruisers, or any rebel capital ships at hoth. No, but the movie never tells us Tarkin didn't send out TIEs because of arrogance. You're using an explanation that came from WEG RPG, because some...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi

Fun fact: The explanation that Tarkin didn't send TIEs out of arrogance actually comes from the WEG RPG. So by your logic, you shouldn't accept that rationalization. The must movie stand on its own, after all, no? And you're using a double standard for ESB too. We know most of the rebels got away, ...

Re: And another one done! Presenting the Rebel Platform

I mean, if we want to be really picky, there's a creative difference between every TG opt and XWAU one. And having an installer option for every single opt would make for a quiet tedious installation.

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi

The most glaring was a completely pointless chase of the Rebel Cruiser by the First Order. If Hux was worth his salt as a commander he would have micro jumped a few Star Destroyers ahead to cut them off, or called for backup to jump in, in front of the cruiser to cut them off. Or just send every la...

Played around with it for a bit, it works superbly. Escorting shuttles or other transports now look really awesome.

Fantastic work finding this.
