I did that but it still crached :(
I think it mhas something to do with the mesh. I remade the canopy with a lower facecount and that seemed to resolve it. No more crash :)
Could there be a different limit for face number when using tranparency?
Anyway, it's resolved now. Thanks for the help.

Hello, The texture names begin with an underscore. When a texture name begin with an underscore, the game skips loading the lightmaps. Is this intentional? Whoops. Did not know that :ops: I fixed it. In XWA Opt Editor, before you start to illuminate, first click reset illumination Next you basically have to select each pixel then click illuminate, to check what have done or need to illuminate, click between Default and 0 and don't forget to save your opt. So, the comm relay. I realy dislike the original model withe the bits and pieces not even connected to eachother. I hope you'll like my version a bit better.
I couldn't get the illumination to work however :(

I've made sure the vertex count per mesh is below 512 but when i import it in the OPTeditor all the meshes have more than quadrupled in vertex count. for example : in MAX 175 vert, in OPTeditor 918 vert! So, Do you have what it takes? Maybe I do. At least Driftwood seemed to think so when he made OPT's from some of my models. I was very surprised, in a good way, to se my models here.
