There's a thread on this forum on how to get XWA started on Win7 :) . You need a third-party installer and a program called XWAHacker, but it can definitely be done :) . Good luck!

Solved -- have the transport craft start carrying out another order, such as Wait 1, after they've parked, and then have a message or something trigger once "At least one craft with orders Wait 1 exists". Condition to check if a ship is parked?

Heya! Is there a way to get XWA to detect that a ship has parked at a platform? I don't like to have ships dock because only one can dock at a time and they nearly always touch down on top of the target FG, not on a landing pad.

It would be great if someone writes a serie of tutorials on how to create and use missions.
I have considered doing this. Then again, the AlliED manual has a tutorial, I believe, have you tried that ;) ?

I doubt it, but in the meantime why don't you tell us a little bit more about this project??? It's an Imperial Assault Gunboat campaign with some custom tweaking of ship stats and an emphasis on characterization, storyline and innovative gameplay :) . Yeah, cap ships and stations exploding is really anti-climatic, just lots of small explosions followed by generic space debris.
I know there's sound upgrades out there, but maybe they don't cover things like explosion sounds.
