It has been very quiet lately. I just figured everyone was in the simulators gawking at the shiney new ships and taking screenshots. :P

It's an Imperial Assault Gunboat campaign with some custom tweaking of ship stats and an emphasis on characterization, storyline and innovative gameplay :) . Will have more info once I have more missions somewhat done, and some screenshots to show ;) .

Red-7 checking in. Still here.

Anyone else looking forward to seeing C.W. season 5 starting end of this month? Darth Maul & his brother taking on Palatine, and more of the Mandalor Deathwatch bounty hunter peeps. Too bad theses short animations aren't replaced with real actors. Kudos to the graphic artists. Previews at the main S.W. website. :-)

Playing the X-Wing minis game, and hoping to hear back from RAA about a job. Also waiting for Community to come back on, getting into Leverage, and watching Bones and Castle.

I have this repeating nightmare/dream recently - anew X-Wing game is announced with a swishy trailer involving a scramble from a MonCal, and you can tell it's X-Wing because you see inside the cockpit.

I get really excited and post on facebook, but no one knows what I'm talking about.

Then I wake up.

:D

Totally true - had it like five or six times.

Hey VPR,

Here's a mission template that I created so you can fly inside a SSD and destroy parked ties. That could be the finally, or even the beginning, or a new campaign. Blowing up a SDD with all its fighters might be a good way to start things off. ;)

Life

Moved from Madison, WI to La Crosse Got a new job, got fired, got another job with crappy hours and such.

Got married July 2011, and living in my wife's home which she has owned for 2 years now.

Played some Kingdom of Loathing, minecraft (I got an Alpha account!) then got Diablo 3, got bored and currently playing Skyrim.

Got the new X-wing miniatures game, not very impressed by it.

Really wish there was a good space flight sim out there that wasn't arcady.

Looking forward to Mojang's new game 0x10c which is coming out next year

You might want to check out Wing Commander Saga it's a free Freespace 2 based space sim and I enjoyed it quite a bit. It's well made, fully voiced and flies a lot like the old space sims I know. It's not Star Wars, but it's still fun :)
