Hello everyone!

I'm new to the forum and have just completed the game Tie Fighter an have started the X wing Alliance game.

But one thing I dont understand is why the bonus points I have gathered from each mission doesn't show in my pilot status?
Anybody know? I play at level hard.

Excuse me if my grammar is bad, i'm a Swedish pilot.... :D

Turning on Invincibility, Infinite Ammo or turning off Craft Collision will severely reduce your score, same as in TIE Fighter.

I found this post in an old forum somewhere a long time ago and saved it to reference later. I think GT might have been the original poster... I can't remember now. Anyway, here it is:

SCORING

a) Pilot Rank

These are the ranks you can earn in the single player game
and the points necessary to get each one.

0 Recruit
100 Flight Cadet
10000 Flight Officer
17500 Lieutenant JG
25000 Lieutenant
33000 Captain
41000 Lt Commander
52000 Commander
65000 General

b) Pilot Rating

Pilot Rating is earned by destroying hostile craft. In
the single player campaign, pilots can earn up to
Marksman 1st Class. Up to Ace 1st can be achieved by
flying single player Skirmish Mode, and kills against
human opponents count towards all rating levels.

Unrated
Certified
Marksman 4th Class
Marksman 3rd Class
Marksman 2nd Class
Marksman 1st Class
Expert 4th Grade
Expert 3rd Grade
Expert 2nd Grade
Expert 1st Grade

c) Point Costs for AI

Cost of AI level in skirmish mode is derived from the
value of the craft multiplied based on the performance
of the AI.

Novice: No multiplier
Officer: x1.5
Veteran: x2
Ace: x3
Top Ace: x4
Super Ace: x5
