And now we need to use 32bit mode.
When the majourty of the BG was black 16bit was ok, but now it looks awfull.
As for your Backdrops, they look awsome.
I wounder if they will suffer the same fate as the Starfield Backdrop (show up pure white)
I love your Planets too. It would be awsome if we somehow added 'gravity' to large objects (to stop floating with throtle at 0)
Ive always imagined being able to fly in and out of planets in xwa.
I wounder what the max world co-ordinate size is.

If you want to use 32bit mode I would suggest you upgrade your OS, and yes if you try to use these new backdrops with your outdated Win98 OS your going to get the same result!

Great job DTM. That's exactly what I've meant. But besides using a sky Dome opt model to encapsulate the player's craft and mission, you could be a lot more "free-er" if those backgrounds were put on surrounding DAT images like the starfilelds. Plus, some other existing model will have to swapped out, unless Jeremy can find a way to hook existing craft slot tables with temporary in-flight models.

just wanted to point out that 32bit mode does work for me.
I just dont understand the Backdrops. I can only think its a size issue.
Anyway, doesnt matter, its only me.

That 7th image reminds me of the Sienar Fleet Systems Factory on Lothal from Star Wars Rebels
Rebels is inspired heavily from Concept Art, could they both be based on the same thing?
edit:
Oh lord I just saw the File name "Lothal" haha

Excellent work DTM! Its amazing how far we've come with XWA.
When I saw the last 2 pics, I immediately thought of Blockade on Chandrilla from Rogue Squadron on N64.
