I recently suffered a HD crash and lost some of my old XWA backups and installs. I've been able to get some of my files back but sadly one of the files I can't get back is a Z-95 AF4 OPT by Christopher A. Card aka "Carbide" here on the forums. Originally it could be found on Chris's site http://www.3dvoodoo.com/files/xwafiles/Z-95.zip but it no longer exists. It looks like this: http://xwing.wz.cz/img_new/z95.jpg Here is the link to his original post here on the XWAUpgrade forums: http://www.xwaupgrade.com/phpBB3008/vie ... 500#p81500
Does anyone here have a copy of this awesome model and could you send it to me? Thanks!

Hey man, try JCDisaray - he has to be a packrat since he was still rocking XvT so there might be a slim chance he is still holding onto the file.
It looked pretty good from most accounts...surprised it didn't make its way onto any super packs?

The Navbuoy is closed...long live the XWAU!!!

There is a version of Z-95-AF4.opt (filedate 6/12/2006, 1,959kb) included in DTM's "Rebellion 1" shipset, with cockpit.
ReadMe credits it to Carbide.
If that is the one you are looking for, you can probably extract it from the shipset, if it is still available on DTM's site.

Otherwise, PM me, and I'll be happy to share my copy with you.

Thank you for the tip DARoot!!! As it turns out I just so happen to have the Rebellion Shipset and it does indeed include Carbide's Z-95-AF4!!! All this time it's been right under my nose and I would never have thought to look there! On a side note I checked DTM's site and it appears the shipset is currently down, luckily I still have the shipset from long ago! It's really too bad Carbide wasn't able to finish more than the base opt because it looks really good in my opinion, one of the best takes on the Z-95-AF4 I've seen.
Anyway, thanks again!
Anyway, thanks again!
