Cockpit is almost done, only problem is I can't get illumination to work on textures larger than 256x256. OPTEnhancer seem to not support them, hence the low-res textures. Is there a way around this problem?

And I want a full XWAupgrade StarViper so I can blow it up and a Pinook so I can own a better fighter with it :lachtot:

Finally it's done.
It comes with the option to use default red or blue FGcolours.

You also need a patched .exe because of the higher res textures. I tested it on the latest XWAUCP and it works perfectly for me.

Can you also make a version that uses a standard combination of 16x16 32x32 64x64 128x128 256x256 textures please.

At the moment your textures are all over the place 512x276 512x240 512x230 512x267 512x258

Thanks

Strange. I made all textures 512x512 or 256x256.
Is there a problem with the texturesizes other than the need for patch?

Yes you shouldn't have a patched the exe to use these opts, everyone else that has made opts for this game has stuck to the standard sizes of texture as I mentioned above.

A lowres version is already underway that works unpatched.

Isn't the .exe automatically patched once you install XWAU? I haven't run into a single issue so far and would find it strange if someone came here to download the T-70 X-Wing but not install XWAU.

Not trying to be a smartass here, just curious because I'm pretty clueless when it comes to textures and making ships, so forgive my ignorance ;)

Edit: Also, the ship looks absolutely gorgeous. Great work once again :D

You are absolutly right Jaeven, the exe is automatically patched. I agree that everyone that downloads this opt probably already has XWAUCP installed and patched, this is why I decided to focus on the highres version first.

Yes but there is always that one person, that doesn't have the XWAUCP or DSUCP installed, that has and older operating system therefore doesn't need everything to be patched, but still wishes to use the T70, but they won't be able too because of the higher resolution textures, there game will just crash!

Also are you doing the Black/Charcoal and Orange variant?

Great work guys! That one turned out really nice!

Now somebody just has to go and start working on that new Death Star III (or whatever it's called) from the poster.

Yeah ok I'll do it.

I'm shocked that is the best they could come up with for the new movie.
