These last months have been full of work for my XWA projects: thanks to JeremyaFr, today we can reach a new quality standard for XWA spacecrafts. The first result of this update is my new R-22 A-Wing, completely redone.
- New mashes
- New HD textures
- New advanced base model with transparent canopy and interiors
- New Landing Gears (use the "S-Foil" function to extract and retract them in game. The landing gears are automatic in the hangar)
This craft requires all the hooks by JeremyaFr. Use XwaHooksSetup.zip to easily downoald the hooks. You may find it at JeremyaFr Onedrive:
https://onedrive.live.com/?id=A8E806203 ... 20371994FB
Usage:
1) Run XwaHooksSetup.exe.
2) It will create a directory named "Hooks" and download the hooks from GitHub into this directory. To redownload the hooks, delete the directory "Hooks".
3) It will extract the hooks into a directory named "Setup".
4) Copy the content of the "Setup" directory in your XWA install directory.
Visit MTD Industries Site to download it.
I hope you like it!

Good work
A small thing:
In the readme in section 5 (HOW TO INSTALL):
- The link to Darksaber site is wrong: http://www.darksaber.gaylenol.com instead of http://www.darksaber.xwaupgrade.com
- The patch 2.02 only need to be installed in the CD version of the game. It is included in XWAUCP and DSUCP. The patch is already included in GoG and Steam version. The site http://www.lucasarts.com is no longer online. Patch 2.02 can be downloaded from http://xvtedicion.es/ingles/descargas/o ... g.php?id=1

Good job man! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your stuff re-released in time.
By the way, if you look at my TIE Aggressor thread, somebody noticed a little something something you may be interested in for your REBCP that hasn't been entirely completed or announced yet that would go well with your R22 release.

It's a much better model and great textures on this version, but.....
DTM, sorry about this, but your pilots head are different meshes
On the base opt it's mesh 27, but on you exterior opt it's mesh 29, the dials on the exterior rotate instead of the head
If you move the dials and the acceleration lever thingy down to the end on the exterior everything should be fine

Excellent DTM.
Edit: Hi DTM, I noticed the R-22 Spearhead is already included in the latest DSUCPv2.5 as craft number index 87.
I might have read it wrong, but instead of replacing the X-wing slot, why not use the same slot that DS has for your R22AW.shp via MXvTEDv4.1?
It might be less confusing for new people. Also, the Objects txt file can always include the Awing.opt = R22AW.opt assignment which would inherit the Awing's stats. If the rotational meshes are indexed in same order, it should work.

Nice upgrade on the R-22 A-Wing DTM, very detailed craft... Also, followed the instructions to the letter on applying the landing gear, works perfectly in-game.

The most amazing cockpit ever made for X-Wing Alliance, really!
