This is my personal best: starting the 3D model from scratch, creating a complete OPT in about 15 hours of work. Seven days, about two hours a day…

Starting from Deviantart as reference.

I created the dxf model of half of the ship

Image
imported the medal into OPTech v2 and started the texturing work

Image
why waste time working on the whole ship, when Jeremy created the "Copy and Mirror Mash" button?

Image
here it is ... you're done! I will start with testing work tomorrow…and maybe I will modify or add some mashes...

Only a year ago this would not have been possible. Today we no longer have to worry about small textures, 3d face limits, three-dimensional false faces, slow face selection, poor vertex and texture control ... and many other boring limitations! Thanks Jeremy!

Stunning, even by your standards, DTM.

Wow that was fast, and here I am still struggling with... things.

Looking good, working on another story arc are you?
