Morning all, I have tried this mission about 5 times. An ATR (Storm Unit) is supposed to dock onto the knocked out Dreadnaught. Well its shields are down, all Tie F's & B's are knocked out. But the ATR keeps flying around in circles, with its order to dock, which it doesn't!? Any ideas here, or is this a bug?

Otherwise one hell of an update guys!

Maybe a stupid question, but you didn't specifically state it so I'll ask. Has the Dreadnaught been disabled? The shields being down aren't enough. The Y-Wings you're escorting it are supposed to use their ion cannons to disable the ship,

I'm assuming it is, if you're seeing the order to dock on the ATR, but it's worth checking.

Usually, the ATR only arrives after the DREAD has already been disabled anyway, but it can also show up if you lose too many Y-Wings. What should happen then is that the ATR will try to disable the DREAD itself before boarding it, but there's no jump trigger to the order to board so I suppose a bug or weird order of events might cause it to try and board before the DREAD is disabled.

My only other guess would maybe a bugged docking hard point on either ship?

If the DREAD is indeed being disabled and this keeps happening, I'd suggest downloading the separate installers for the Dreadnaught and ATR and reinstalling them.

The opts should be correct as this mission worked fine for me relatively recently, but a reinstall of the two ships can't hurt and it might correct the problem if it's hardpoint related.

I've just checked the OPTs in Skirmish mode, had an ATR capture a Dreadnought. Worked fine.

Yeah and I've compared the original xwa craft versions to our XWAUP versions to see it if there where any missing docking hardpoints, neither the original or our versions have any docking hardpoints, so everything's good there too

with him stating "the ATR keeps flying around in circles", my first thought was the ATR can't dock due to the Dreadnought or ATR missing something, but nothing found there

so like I said all good there :)

Hello all, well the shields were down and the ship was disabeled. Even had Y-Wings jumping back home. Have re-installed both Dreadnaught and ATR's. Will post on the outcoming.
