VIA has accused you of "unfair competition". Also, companies like AMD are likely to join this suit in the near future. AMD's reasoning is that Intel ran off and purchased all the silicon on the market that AMD needed for their new processor thats due to be released in March. Intel has nothing prepared that would require this silicon (or so my sources inform me).
VIA has also announced that it is considering persueing this same lawsuit within the United States. The current lawsuit is in Taiwan.

But wait why is VIA suing if AMD is the one who needs the silicon? I assume they took VIA's share to then.
DAMN U INTEL!
I mean I want Barton and Hammer to happen sooner than later.

no VIA is sueing because of the high royalty fees they are forced into paying Intel that drives up the cost of their chips.

That explains it. Couldnt Intel justify that they want to make more Hyperthreaded P IV's? Or does intel already have a load of silicon other than what they bought?

from what I understand AMD needed a specific type of silicon to produce their "Hammer", a type to date Intel isn't using. Anyways Intel's buying this has forced AMD into researching alternatives to Silicon with interesting results... results that a week before the info went semi-public led their President into buying somewhere around 300,000 shares of the company... That being an accidental creation of "quantum" circuitry, they are presently trying to duplicate this process...
