I know this sounds like a trivial question, but I'd like to know if 7-Zip compression is lossless with .tie extension.
I've just tried with a mission ( .tie ): the uncompressed mission size is 440 KB, whereas the compressed one size is only 8.55 KB.
The reason I'm asking this question is that it seems I can't upload .tie attachments.
Another thing I'd like to know (maybe this is not the best section for this): is Y-Wing default color the only option that "alters" the missions while installing DSUCP? This is just to know how many "different" versions of the mission I have to upload.
Edit: Battle 5, Mission 7 update v2.0 will be released on Thursday 22 or Friday 23. Sorry, but I'll not be back to my base sooner.

Hello,
7-Zip compression (LZMA) is lossless and offers a good compression rate.

Thanks JeremyaFr.
So I can upload files using 7-Zip or share them using Dropbox.
Both are viable options.
I find 7-Zip more useful for films than missions, because of the limited space in Dropbox.
