It seems that I can have low FPS while taking off in certain camera views....at least when taking off from Azzameen base in the prologue

I can fix it by changing view (the current hooks permit it, although I have to use the numbers above the main keyboard instead of the numpad) but it is a bit annoying

It's all hangars. Been happening a while. Not totally tracked it down but someone said try Vsync Off.
Also if you hit space then it launches right away. Seems to work best in FPS cockpit view

Maybe it was on instead? Not sure as so many threads with different results but finding this bug fix would be a help for me too

Looks like turning Vsync on fixed the issue for me

Can you recreate it every time? What's the best way to test that out

Yep.

And up to date, from what I can see, when vsync is off fps just go down the drain when taking off in certain camera views, but with vsync on, it's fine

Great I tried it multiple times and it does stop the lag in the hangar so that's great.
Not elsewhere but the hangar bug was annoying

Anyone else still having this issue, i have tried turning v sync on and off, as well as the override option for hangar only and nothing fixes it.

I had the issue too (in the hangar), but it was connected to something with Blue Max Effects at the time I think. However I am no longer experiencing it.

I tried removing the effts by bluemax and that didn't fix it so guessing its not that causing it. i wonder if the gsync is causing it.

Are you running the original ddraw by Jeremy and still experiencing this problem? What's the refresh rate on your monitor? If it's above 60, try setting it down to 60 to see if that helps.
