[Solved] Cannot make XWA find my stick

First, well done on making this! I played X-Wing, TIE Fighter and XWA to bits back-when, and was so happy to kind of randomly come across this now so that I can fly in VR! Setup was pretty easy too, everything seems to work except:

My spacecraft yaws left. I cannot for the life of me get XWA to recognize my stick. I seem to remember similar issues from installing the XWA upgrade some years ago.

I've tried unplugging other devices, setting my stick and then the VJoy device as Win10 and XWA default, and I'm pretty sure I did the VJoy + Joystick Gremlin thing correctly.

I'm on the Steam version and my stick is a FSSB3, which is basically a mount for the TM Warthog HOTAS stick. (Rift S for VR.)

Any help would be much appreciated- I've spent some hours researching and testing before posting. Maybe there is something in the game config files I can do?
