All installed but nothing changes

Hey there,

I just installed XWA (Steam Edition), afterwards the XWAUCP_v1.6 and the Patch v1.0. System is Windows 10.

When I start the game it transfers me directly to the rebel campaign, skipping the tutorial mission (which is normal as I read so far).

As the mission starts I see the same cockpit and the same blurred out textures on the larger space crafts, same laser blasts and so on - it seems like nothings has changed but skipping the tutorial missions.

I started the game via steam and directly via the shortcut icon on my desktop - same result.

Did I do anything wrong?

Try this;

Install XWA.
Ensure it's patched to v2.02 (nb. Steam version is already patched to v2.02).
Install XWAU v1.6
Install the XWAU patch (see downloads page).
Install Blue Max Effects v1.1.4

Then pick your packages to install in addition to (ie. Cockpits, Backdrops etc).

I missed the Blue Max Effects package initially and the packages didn't take. Once I installed Blue Max Effects, everything works beautifully.
