I am looking to see if any one as ever flowen a Z-95 against a YT-2000, and Firespray, YT-1300 (unmodified not the falcon), or a cloakshape fighter. If any one as or they would like to try them out I would like to know how hard it is to win in the Z-95. I am making a mission pack where you will come up against these fighters and I need to know if it is possable and how hard it is to win. I would do it myself but i don't have a lot of free time and i would like to know if other people could do it or not. Also i would like to know what AI you played agianst if you won or not. Well, I haven't flown that test, but from personell experience (and I think against AI I do have QUITE some experience) the YT-2000 would be a PAIN! The other ones should be too much of a problem. The YT-1300 is only a problem if you atack it from above, if you outmaneuver it and attack it from below you're save. Okay i tried out a Z-95 vs YT-2000. Don't even try going against a Super Ace AI, it wont happen, by the time you can get a shot at 1.35km you are allready being pummeled. And it REALLY suck when the AI decides to use its fron Ions along with it Turrets on you. The Z-95 is not Durable enoguht to take out a Turreted craft, at leat not by itself, and not without missiles.<P>The only real chance i had was when i set the YT-200 AI to Novice. And i had to attack it with Adv. Missiles.<P>1. Start a lock-on ASAP (i think i was getting tone beyond the 2.5km range)<BR>2. Fire off all of your missiles at extreme range (beyond 1.35km)<BR>3. The Novie AI cannot shoot down the misiles, but it can shoot you.<BR>4. While it is trying to recover from the missile hists finsih it of with a High delection laser shot. You shields will take a beating, but you might actually survive if you are lucky.<P>I would use this same tactic against any Turreted craft, for this exersise i had lasers at +1 and shields at -2. But i couldn't even beging to take out a Nove YT-2000 without Adv. sorry, the Z-95 can easily take out any other fighter as long as these three thing are true:<P>1. The oopsing craft dose not have missiles and if it does the Z-95 needs to have chaff, not flares.<BR>2. The opposing craft does not have any turrests, the Z-95 is not durable enoguh to take out a turreted craft. Even with missiles<BR>3. the Z-95 will need to sacrifice shield or laser enrgy to counter a faster more manuverable craft.<P>It will take a very skilled pilot to do it well...but it is possible.

Well i did get a little time to try a few of the craft. i didn't get to the yt-2000 and i think you are right i would be next to imposable. But i did kill all the other craft (thought it took me about five times to get the yt-13000) on AI venteran. If anyone thinks this is a flock let me know and thank you for you input<P>------------------<BR>I don't have to blow everything up, I just like to.<P>
