I think someone else will probably be doing this, but.....
I think it would be really great to have a death star surface mission. This would be made of several different opts, to make up the death star surface.
If anyone would like to make these opts, be my guest. Otherwise, recommend me a good free way of making opts please!
Also on this topic I'd like to try the battle of hoth. Including walking at-ats if it can be done - i know that moving parts are possible on opts but are, for example, moving shooting things? I think that it would be possible to have an at-at moving along a strip of white 'ground' and shooting at a target when it gets close enough.
Hit me.

Only problem I could see is getting it to look like its walking and not waving its legs around. Also depending on how its set up it may rotate or something when destroyed.
Does anyone know if the Atmospheric Project guys achieved a walking AT-AT??.
Whatever doesn't kill you can only make you stronger...Unless it bites your legs off, in which case it can only make you shorter.

The moving legs on an AT-AT, that was discussed in the pilot lounge I think, or somewhere around here, under the 'at-at' topic.
------------------
Visit my site, the SSD Shadowkeeper!
UPDATE 1/22/02: 10 New Skirmish Pictures Added!
AIM me @ MIDI Master Jade!

It can't be done unless the walker is put into one of the slots for ships with moving parts (shuttle, xw, bw).
There are 10 kinds of people.
Those that understand binary, and those that don't.

Well, that's a fairly small price to pay if you're able to use MXvTED, since it's not absolutely essential to have movable S-Foils. Umm dont quote me on this but Data Droid I believe you are wrong. I think Cloud said this (not sure Image)but all you do is you make the legs rotating gun turrets and set the rotation to make it look like its walking then do some other high level optin stuff and you get a walkin atat. But even if you stop its throttle the legs will still move I guess :-/
------------------
Ace Knight 1,
Mobile
Agile
Hostile

You misunderstand the way I want to do the AT-AT: it would be a one mission (or maybe 2 or 3) mission opt only. It would be a strip of land as an opt with moving parts that goa long it - the AT-Ats. Also, since its a few missions only, you could make sure that the throttle never went down to zero.

@mini: Looking good!I think you should darken the DS textures a bit.
