Half sisters are cool, got one, too plus a half brother.
Must admit though with Germany being fairly small we had some knowledge of each other early on, mostly me though, being by far the oldest roughly 10 years ahead.

Still though, I imagine learning things of this at some point is quite an experience. Glad to hear it worked well!

Threw a no-tap 300 game last night. No-tap usually means 9 pins down on your first ball is scored as a strike, and I had 5 no-tap strikes in the game, but my last 4 were natural strikes, so it certainly felt like a real 300. :D

The new permanent forums on TF.n finally went "live" on Labor Day. If you had been registered on their old boards, your old usernames and passwords will work on the new boards.

More importantly, it meant I could get everyone caught up on recent developments. :D

Going to try this again...I had a run-in with the Dark Lord of the Sith...sort of!

Soooo how was everybody's end of the world?

I had the last day at my company, finishing with a great christmas dinner and following booze, returning home sometime around 3 in the morning.

It's been a while guys. A bunch of changes for me. I no longer live in RI. I now live in FL!!! I decided it was time for a change and hunted for jobs and landed an awesome IT job in St. Petersburg, FL. I am the only onsite person for an insurance company down there and I have access to the server room and they send me on business trips from time to time. So far been to Atlanta, New Orleans, and Charlotte. Things are going great... now to just make new friends. It's tough leaving a tiny state like RI where everyone knew me to a huge state and even a huge town which has a larger population than the entire state of RI where no one knows who I am. New beginnings....

Gah! This is so cruel! I'm obliged to rehease (and later play) German folk music (known as "Volksmusik") for a paid gig. :kotz:
I gutta point out this is the absolute undisputedly most horrible type of music you can ever imagine. :bäh:

Hey, at least it's a paid gig! And while I'm not an expert on German folk music, I can think of worse music. To be honest some of the songs I play in church are pretty horrendous. A lot of our music was written in the 60's and 70's, so there are some pieces that I look at and tell myself "okay I'm sure this didn't seem as cheesy at the time." Personally, I've always digged the old-school church music more. A little bluesy or jazzy stuff here or there is fun, but there are certain genres of music that shouldn't be converted into religious music (Mexican polka, for example).

Yeah I can imagine. German folk msuic is pretty much about the most cheesiest sort of romance and, as I call it, contrived joy and happieness. It's an absolute burner for people way over 60 years and everyone else way over 2,5 per-mil blood alcohol.

BTW, this is the song I had to do yesterday. Didn't have to sing, at least. Oh it's about the town where I live, too :)

Sweet pay and awesome working hours.
Gonna go get myself some new stage equipment soon, that's gonna be sweet :)

Unfortunately, whether we like it or not, things change and we all drift apart as we came together.

Now as a 25 years old adult, I see what my parent has been trying to teach me for a long time........always cherish what you have right now, as you never know when you will lose them.

I played the beta, preordered SWTOR but never activated it, no time! Waste of my money... only game I have played in past 3 months is World of Tanks for one week, then had to stop.

Still alive, still bowling, still blogging about said bowling, still on my association's board...

At least I got a paying gig tabulating the scores for a 10 game marathon tournament the other day, which put my Excel skills to good use (yes, I have a new laptop and laser printer for that purpose). :)

Heh I just sold my laptop. Actually fairly new one, bout 2 years or so, but I hardly ever used it, once I got my tablet.

Still working on my insanely detailed model updates such as a fully explorable Patriot Frigate and HD versions of the Seraphim, Phoenix Cruiser and others...
