I guess when I put the rules up I missed one, though it kind of ties in with the no superweapons one. No superbeings. One or two special abilities are OK, but if you're combining shapeshifting, the Force, teleportation and ability absorption, it kind of stretches credibility a little too far.
I'm still a little annoyed that Shiromy was able to detonate my flak pods as soon as they launched just by thinking about it, especially when I can't do the same to his Omega Arrays. But hey, I'm not going to argue with the guy thats giving us the SSD! :D
Oh, and thanks Andrew, I like how you've changed it, it's given me some good ideas about how I can resolve this little skirmish with no major characters dying!

Sorry about that, much modified my post. I'm keeping my character as is, but I wont do any ability absorption. I'll also avoid teleportation, unless he can see where hes going somehow, don't wanna end up inside something. He also doesn't use the full extent of his powers unless he has to. He considers it cheating. Much more fun to beat them the old fashioned way. ;) And unless I say otherwise, he appears to be human.
Edit: Thought about it, and decided to ditch the direct control over energy thing. That was going a little far.
[ 02 September 2007: Message edited by: ShadowDuelist ]

Wow so nobody noticed 4 large ships entering the system, latching on to an 22km ship then leaving the system with the ship in tow while an interdictor was projecting a gravity well. Interesting.
@ShadowSDuelist: What ship are your people latching onto and boarding?

LOL, sorry Mako. I read most of your post, and I'm really not sure how I missed that. Though with all the things I'm concentrating on, a ship disappearing from a battlegroup I'm not currently battling (at the moment I'm only fighting Jonathan's group), I can probably let it slide until next post.
As for where I'm going with this, well the battle thread may be going fairly well at the moment, but as soon as no one is posting any more, I have a reason to leave and actually give the battle thread some sort of conclusion.

I noticed it, and didn't much care, nothing I could do about it, didn't bother me any, and aded to the confusion.
@Mako: You brought 2 executor II class ships and the Roscha with you. One left for Nar Shada, the Roscha got grabed, and that left one remaining. Thats the one I'm attacking.
[ 03 September 2007: Message edited by: ShadowDuelist ]

The left, off the edge of the map a bit, and slightly above the plane of the battle.
OK, what I thought the battle looks like now. I guess I could be wrong. The gray is my ships. I made it quick so its sloppy.
Image
[ 03 September 2007: Message edited by: ShadowDuelist ]

Alright, well unfortunatly you removed the wrong SSD from the map so the one you're attacking is the one labeled New ESS Executor 2. Oh well I'll post something later.

That does make more sense. Well, just advance my ships forward some and it still works.

Well GT the new guys trying to steal your ship. I wonder how Shiromy's going to take that?

Remove the green SSD2, put the red one back, and place the gray ships in the same relative positions around it, and you have the correct map.

I see. Alright figured out most of it.
I doubt somebody would manage to steal an SSD from Shiromy, now that she learned those neat teleporting tricks from Roscha ...
But I think Mryna and her squad will do fine already. I had to skip the scene of her approaching the Red Star II since the story had advanced so far already.
Heh, regarding the 'Spearhead Gunships'. Those are still in dev stage, even from a model PoV. They won't appear in this battle.
But since I know how you like spoilers...
[color="#000000"<BR]Spearhead-class Gunship
Classification: Gunship / Frigate
Length: 320 m
Entered Service: 2545 UPT
Weaponry:
8 dual DIP turrets
4 light anti-fighter Guns (2 forward, 2 rear)
1 forward Fusion Cannon
The exotic looking Spearhead is a revolutionary design that takes the powerful fusion cannon from its so far massive battleship mount onto a small and more agile frigate-type ship. With moderate defensive weaponry the Spearhead is designed for long range strikes with its massive primary gun. Therefore it mostly relies on fighter cover and the support of the fleet's escort ships.

[ 04 September 2007: Message edited by: General_Trageton ]

I've completely lost track of who is fighting who. Frack it. Time to do something fun. And a bit out of character. I guess it is that important.

Shadowduelist has boarded the Executor2 wich I received from Mako.
The way I see it, Imperials, ESS and Corellians have some sort of Mexican standoff, while the fighting right now is Shadowduelist vs. me and Jonathan vs. Z95

Damnit! We just had 3 power outages in a row! Incredible how annoying this can be when you try to write a story....

Hey GT when I told you about that over ride code I meant that the over ride shuts the self destruct down completely. once shutdown then you can reset the self destruct to be automatic again in case the ship gets overrun or you can use it as a trap of sorts. and If you give me a bit to find all my notes on them I'll post the summarized history of the Keepers here.

Hows he using the override at all seeing as I killed power to the whole ship? I don't think he didn't mention turning it back on again. And I don't thing you can get reactors the big restarted very easily.
[ 05 September 2007: Message edited by: ShadowDuelist ]
