Both of you guys' stuff is really cool. Makes me feel like a dinosaur by doing all of my pics in 2D. I feel so intimidated to do this battle thread stuff now!

Nice one, Mako. "another clone" - priceless.

Yay, I finally found a solution to achieve a good ending for Shiromy while also avoiding the 'getting too powerful' issue.

Now if Will and maybe Drake could post before I do ....

Woop, WTF?!? :D

It's not as dramatic as last time and it wasn't supposed to be either. He sort-of chose this himself.

I was in fact playing with the thought of Mryna rolling her eyes and groaning something like "D'uh, not again!"

Taking it to the astral plane huh?
Good thing Shiromy didn't go after Kyaara. Mako would have definitely died this time.

Hmm, now it seems I won't need the parts anymore, where Vince is corrupted. XD

If anybody's interested, I've put it up as an 'infinities' excerpt on ESS Central. Just didn't want it to get lost =)

Wow that would have been interesting. The possible places that storyline could have led to. Makes you wonder. ;)

I had some ideas of what might happen :)

Anyway, let's keep this moving. I intend to make that final showdown not too long. Time for Vince to really kick some @$$ :)

Will, Drake, you still there? This would be a good time for you to pop in :)

Sorry GT, I've been swamped with lab work and exam revision this week. Assuming I don't spend the entire weekend comatose, I'll try and post something. Inspiration comes all too infrequently these days, though. I don't think lack of sleep is helping.

I'm fresh out of inspiration. Also, I'm having trouble coming up with an excuse for David to not interfere at this point.

Well he better not. Shiromy won't be happy with two people fighting in her head already. A third will most likely overstress her patience XD
Besides, he'll have all hands full on his side - Kyaara just watched her mom kill her dad .... She doesn't know much of the principles of mental posession just yet ... so David better prepare for an outburst of cataclysmic dimensions.
If I were to suggest, Jack might want to check around the immediate bridge perimeters. Those two Cha'Lynh were only stunned. Sooner or later they'll wake up and most likely cause trouble.

I could always write something. Of course, since I'd be appearing from nowhere right in the middle/end of it and I don't really know what's going on, I'd probably mess it up royally. :D But I'm getting anxious. It looks like so much fun. I need an excuse to write some sci-fi!

Update: I've rewritten my last post. I kinda found myself at a lack of inspiration for that astral plane fight and figured it would take too long and happen mostly cut off from the rest of the events. I've now skipped that.

I also decided to credit Shiromy with a bit more willpower so she could actually defeat Revan herself.

Right now I'm playing with the process having some consequences for her, such as being cut off from the Force or something like that.

Any ideas?

Now that I've finished the Star Galleon, and Imperial Research ship, and have completely finished the models of my two new frigates. I can give some input. ok so obvious consequences will be that Shiromy will have lost the trust of her subjects, and friends. As for her powers she could lose those ,but not yet those will come in handy.

When you say "finished" do you mean like finished-and-soon-to-be-released-finished? That would be pretty awesome.

Now, I don't know Shiromy near as well as everyone else, so forgive me if I'm a bit out of line, but what if she only lost part of her connection to the Force? Say, for instance, she could only feel the pain and suffering of others and it torments her and messes with her mind. Of, she could still manipulate physical objects, but she can't sense anything. Like she can't sense an opponent's next move and thus loses an advantage in battle. Or something along those lines. Just a thought. You know better than I do what direction you want to take the character. I don't mean to impose.

Well, thinking about it, loosing the connection to the Force would actually not cripple her abilities too much, it'd only have the rather annoying consequence that pretty much everything she has done to learn all these things were in vain as she couldn't use them anymore.

But I guess I should start to explain one step earlier: Shiromy, Mryna, Darron and Vince all originate from a story of mine that actually had nothing to do with Star Wars. We sort-of merged the two universes to make those battles possible.

So, that said, when and where Shiromy started her training, something like the Force didn't exist.
Vince, for instance, has learned to manipulate energy itself, meaning he can drain energy in any form and shape it the way he requires - shield, blast, whatever.
Shiromy has learned many arts such as the way of the Cha'Lynh or the Zhawn Ti'Kur. Arts that rely on all kinds of energy and willpower, without necessarily related to the force - although whatever the more powerful characters do (such as blowing up a star system) will most definitely have an echo on the Force.

Anyway, I gotta think about this. Maybe she gets forced to take a rehab class at the Jedi Academy XD
Vince will have a pretty hard time - he loves her on one hand, but he'll be forced to sentence her for her crimes to avoid conflict with the other factions.

Maybe she'll just walk the Galaxy - like Caine in Kung Fu

I mean finished as in "My closest buds and anyone-who-asks-really-nicely-and-PMs-me-an-email will soon be getting a copy finished.
But yeah we gotta finish this arc and start a new one.

@ GT. Uhhh...yeah. That stuff. I like the rehab idea. :D

Sounds like you could have a lot of possibilities there, but I barely understand the Force let alone all that other stuff. Like I said before, I'm more oriented toward the military side. It must have taken you years to develop all of those ideas. I know I've been working on my Halo Squadron storyline since I was 13 or 14, and that's all still within the Star Wars universe. I've been trying to create my own sci-fi storyline outside of Star Wars, but so far all I have are some ships and a few of the characters. It's hard thinking up stuff that hasn't already been done.

Kudos to you, though. I can tell you've really thought it through and that you're dedicated to it.

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you were doing it for the site. I didn't realize it was more or less a private endeavor. If it wouldn't be too much trouble, though, I could PM you. Just want to make sure that's okay before I do. A new Research Ship was one I was kind of waiting for.

I've been swamped lately. I've got two lab reports due in on top of all my regular stuff, my Xbox has also finally been replaced so most of my free time (aside from a weekend camping and hiking trip) has gone on finally playing Modern Warfare 2 and Halo Wars - both of which are incredible games.

I will eventually get some time to get creative though.

It's the last week of classes before finals, so I'm kinda busy. Once that's done, I'll be able to write stuff.
