Heh, just saw Ghost Rider on TV the other day. That very first transformation kinda reminded me of the torments Shiromy had been going through while under Revan's influence :explodieren: Image

Well, finals are over and I have time now, so post coming up. Remind me, do we have anything else going on that needs to be wrapped up? If not, would it be fine if David just teleported over, healed Vince, dropped off their daughter, Shiromy tells everyone to stop shooting, and we're done?

You mean like "Yeah you killed me twice and made me drive the ESS into civil war, but whatever, forget about that. Let's go home!" ?!??
Nah, let's not make it too easy for Shiromy. Not after all the bad things she has done. I intend to find a conclusion, no doubt, but I will make sure Shiromy gets her share.

Vince has one major problem. After the events a lot of people want Shiromy's head. And as Emperor it is his duty to see to justice being covered. So, to avoid having to sentence her he indeed decides for her to take a rehab on jolly old Yavin IV. Like I said earlier, I'm pretty much taking Shiromy out of the picture, as she's become too powerful to be reasonably involved in any major action. I already have some ideas for nice Jedi Academy tales for future stories ...

I'd have said Dave should bring Kyaara and Mako back to Roscha, as the girl was in the middle of her Zhawn Training. But I suppose after what has happened, she'll want to see her parents. You could make the girl go berserk on David to take her to them now. And it'll be up to them to tell her that mommy's gonna go on a long vacation... oh the drama!

What other open ends are there?
- Ferris confronting her mother
- The kidnapped NR archeologists (with Canthas)
- The wrapping up of the Battle of Mandalore
- The other loose ends around Calim VI...

So much for waiting for someone else to write something.
I'll get a post up tomorrow.

You may have forgotten what you were going for, Will, but I think you've gotten to the heart of it :)

I'll be out and about over XMas, starting tomorrow. So, unless anybody else posts, I'll post some semi-concluding bits tomorrow morning to wrap things up on my side.

Now, I'm drunk and still need to pack my bags for the journey. This sucks!

Don't know if this is really the right place to post this, but here goes. The forum page says it's Mako's birthday today, so...Happy Birthday, man! :birthday: I know I got to this a little late in the day, so if you get around to reading this after the fact, Happy Birthday anyway.

And thus it is decided. Shiromy goes to rehab.

Note: I've updated her profile, too. She now is no longer Empress.
(Kinda like earlier, today, where I chose to make Loghain become a Grey Warden XD)

Dude! That was ... harsh. You sure have a habit to bring another anticlimax, when a battle is just about finished XD

Well, it definitely nullifies some of the ideas I had for Shiromy's Jedi Tales at the Academy XD

But ooookay, guess I gotta live with that. Gives me some ideas how I can finally round up things on my side. Vince will most definitely decide take action, especially after what he owes to the Jedi.

Maybe it's time for him to return to active duty?

Edit: Heh, I just imagined some of the high-buff characters talking about Rygetto
"Well he can't be that poweful if he needs a nuke for that!"
Wonder who'd be first to say that? Ferris? David? Shiromy?

Most definitely Ferris.
Anyway I did have post just about done but, there were some blanks that needed filling in such as what happened to the group that took the excavation team along with some of my guys. And who picked up Vorak from his escape pod?

Methinks I doth spy an opening. Squarehead’s last couple of posts look like they may have set something up where we can introduce the New Republic as a major element. *hint hint* Of course, I know you guys wanted to end this thread soon and I still don’t want to mess anything up, but you could always keep moving with the thread and just start subtly shifting it towards another storyline. I don’t want to sound pushy or anything and I don’t know how you guys generally go about separating the threads or what your plans for the next one were. This is your project so you have the final say. (That’s a collective you.) I’m no Mike Stackpole or anything, but I think I could come up with some stuff. Eh, I just have way too much time on my hands. If, at whatever point, I were to write something, you’d probably have to bear with me some since there would be a bit of introductory writing so as to establish some of my characters, but I’d do my best not to make it dry and dull. These are Battle threads, afterall, not Sit-around-and-yammer-on-about-your-life threads.

If you want to jump in, I don't have any objections. Last time we sort of segwayed from one battle into the next in one thread.

What would be the point? If you're going to direct it into another storyline, you may as well have a new thread for that. The problem (for me at least) is that there's so much happened in this thread that I'm a little lost as to where we are, without trawling back through every post.

We're done. We're wrapping up. Having a break and then starting a new thread means that we can go in to it fresh, eager and with a bit more inspiration, while taking only the basic plot elements from the previous thread. For instance I have no idea where my ships are, or how many there are in total dotted about this battle. I remember the result though. On top of all that, it's a lot easier to slot in with a new thread. That's how I did it.
