How can I bypass missions?

I am using XWA v.2.02 and new to Star Wars stuff. I am stuck on Prologue Mission 4 and can not advance. is there a way to bypass these missions?
How do I get to the Combat Chamber to get to the Quick Skirmish mode?

Hello, you cannot use the Combat Chamber until you arrive on the Mon Calamari cruiser... you have to go deeper in the game's missions...
If you want to skip missions, you can use the pilot editor: http://www.darksaber.pnma.co.uk.
Change the current mission to +1 from the current one.

I was able to use the combat chamber during the prologue missions. All you have to do is to click on the corridor behind Emkay.

Wow, Spaceknight, it's really something that you are now discovering the game. Mind if I ask how you came across the game and what prompted you to want to play it? It's probably my favorite game, but I bet you have an interesting story behind that.

Oh, yeah, the "Sticking it to the Viraxo" mission. Lots of people get stuck on that one (I seem to recall I was, too, when I played the game for the first time way back then). After three really easy tutorial missions you're suddenly thrown into a serious battle involving a dogfight with several starfighters.

When you join the Rebellion you'll be able to skip a total of three of their missions. The family missions are too integral to the plot to be bypassed, though.
