GOG XWA Film Recording Broken

Just a question to see if I'm not the only one suffering from this problem, but is anyone having problems
recording film with the GOG version of X-wing Alliance? While in flight, I keep pressing SHIFT+F to record,
and I hear the sound to start recording but I get no REC indicator in the upper left part of the screen. When
I press it again, I just hear another beep. Ending the mission doesn't allow me to save any film either. It just
seems to be broken.
