Anyone played it? I was wondering if it was worth getting, and more importantly, worth the ongoing subscription.

Played the demo, thought it was pretty sweet, but was disappointed you could actually pilot the ships.

oops, yes, that should be couldn't. You just sort of tell your ship to fly toward this, or orbit that. I wanna f***ing pilot the thing!<p>[ 17 March 2008: Message edited by: ShadowDuelist ]

You can't fly the ships? That's crap. Thanks ShadowDuelist, you just saved me a fair bit of cash.

Blimey! Me too, I was considering it, thinking it would be like X3, but online...
I like the control a space sim gives over the craft itself, not some StarFleet Command/RTS style system.
Bridge Commander was an interesting one because it was kind of a mix between SF Command and XWA/X3, Totally Games made an intriguing system, pity the game itself was bland.
