I have been trying this one for a while. I cannot kill the preybirds fast enough to keep the shuttle alive. I think the best I have done is kill off 9 preybirds, but they attack in groups of four and not strategy picks them off fast enough for me to prevent failure. My current strategy is to target the shuttle and pick up anything targeting it. Then I use a missile for each fighter in the flight group the distract them. That works for a while, but my wingman is virtually useless and eventually I 1 to 4 preybirds will target the shuttle and destroy it. Is this a bug and is there a fix? Thanks.

Have you used the wingman command "Attack Target Type"? I usually find it useful in escort missions where a specific type of craft is attacking the MCC.

I remember that mission, it is extremely hard and you have to time your attacks perfectly and cannot let yourself be drawn away from the shuttle. You have to attack each craft when they show up to draw them away. (Do not destroy them, as soon as the turn away target the next one) But boy that mission is not forgiving at all.

I only did that mission in vanilla (30 FPS) and easy settings.
