Wow Kyle,
your description is like a romance!Do you use to set up missions? if you like to do them you will have the possibility to create some Clone Wars battles. After the release of my shipset with the two first chapters the project will be opened to every mission writer who wants to tell his own story...

DTM,
Thank you for your kind compliments! Coming from you they're a real honor!
To answer your question, "No," I've never created a XWA mission before. I have been active in other modding endeavors though, such as the Obi-Wan total conversion mod for Dark Forces II, Jedi Knight, I was a design consultant and .ini file guy for ForceMod III for Jedi Academy, I've created a few mini-mods from scratch for Infiltration, a superb hardcore infantry simulator total conversion for Unreal Tournament, and currently I'm contributing to "Bleed for Oil," a dynamic and stunning mission/campaign for Operation Flashpoint that introduces actual consequences for moral decisions made in war.
I primarily work as a storyline contributor, dialogue writer, visual designer, and if the work is rudimentary, I can do a little programming too. I'm just an art instructor who happens to love writing enough to get published every now and then, and who also happens to be VERY passionate about Star Wars.
I'm saying all of this because if you'd like me to contribute towards something you're doing, I'd be more than happy to. Just PM me and we'll see what can be arranged. I'd certainly be open to beta testing! :)

After a little more thought regarding the crafting of my "dream" Coruscant Battle campaign, I think it'd be pretty neat if the mission opens up with the player piloting a N-1 that's part of a flight group that's escorting a Nubian Royal Starship and a Republic Radiant Cruiser to Coruscant's surface for an important meeting with Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Suddenly the first wave of Grievous' fleet arrives, and they make their way to the Coruscant's surface. Shortly thereafter, the player is given a new objective as the region around Palpatine's location is now under heavy attack! The first of the Separatist's starfighters are launched, and they begin attacking the surrounding transports and vessels, including the player's own party. One of the few Venators in the area gives permission for your esteemed party's ships to to seek refuge in its hangar bays. If possible, it'd be pretty thrilling to see the captains of the Nubian transports fly a covering route that sticks close to the few Acclamators and Venators in the area before finally docking at the pre-defined Venator. Enroute to the Venator, the player could hear that Palpatine's been taken hostage, and is now being whisked away by Dooku's forces. More and more Separatist ships fill the space ahead as the player escorts his party and neighboring transports struggle to make their way to their hyperspace escape points; the sheer amount of chaos gives an appearance that all is lost. Shortly before the player arrives at the Venator, more and more Republic craft finally begin arriving to even out the once desperate odds. The fight has only just begun!
THEN I'd make the next mission the one where the player is in a V-19 that's been launched from Coruscant's surface. Shortly into this mission, we get to hear how jamming devices have crippled the Reupublic's ability to keep track of where the ship that's holding Palpatine has gone to. The player's mission? Inspect the Separatist's fleet to find where Palpatine's ship has docked. The ENTIRE fleet would need to be inspected, as information is critical on ALL levels. Grievous' ship would initially be positioned FAR away from the player's starting point, to create more of a challenge. By the time this mission ends, most of the transports in the area will either have successfully fled the region or will have been tragically destroyed.
I'm giddy just thinking about it!
Kyle
Nov. 12, 2005
;)

I think people mistake the EU as being apocryphal. Remember, everything but Infinities in the EU is still considered canon. There are different tiers of what is considered canon, but it is still canon.
