The blue flames look interesting, but I think my favorite part is the clean look to it. It would fit right in on Alderaan or Chandrilla or Naboo.

Always mightily impressed by your work - this palace I like even more than some of your spaceships - it's awe-inspiring :D
And you've done a brilliant job to get it look so damn fine in the XWA engine :D

Seems a little too white for Naboo. :)

1 Passenger
1 in the trunk
1 in each engine case, if you take out the Dhilani Cannons
So that makes 4 ;D
[ 01 May 2006: Message edited by: General_Trageton ]

I assume that the spaceport is wither tractor beam guided landings, or perhaps transmits computer signals for display on the HUD to assist in landing, as there seems to be no markings to help pilots.
Hmm. Yellow lights. Much appreciated, but now there is the contrast between the blue lights of the palace and the yellow of the city. Before, minor eye differences could explain why the blue lights were not painful to look at. But the yellow throws things off.
Possible reasons:
1. Blue light is used in military locations because it also provides some sort of material benefit, such as destroying various bacteria and poisons.
2. The people are color blind, and blue is simply a brighter light than yellow.
3. The visual spectrum seen by the people is shifted slightly into the UV range and away from the infrared end of the spectrun, putting the bright blue at the center of the spectrum and yellow at the low end. The palace is simply lit in a public fashion, as opposed to the lights in the city which are residential style. Many cities differentiate by lights, with high end colors such as white and blue for public and commercial, and low ends such as yellow and orange for residential. Image

probably the reason why its throwing you off is cause of the default green textures

no, I'm referring to the yellow city lights versus the blue of the palace and nearly every capital warship.

Failed, nah never that. If the source code had been released we could have gotten here sooner.
Good work GT. Everytime I do something well. (Naboo Surface) You push it harder. I will double my efforts for Tatooine.
That is why our community does some of the best work.

Graaaahhh it's just art, MWJ! And blue light is more energetic than red light, but not brighter. Brightness is determined by the number of photons, correct? :-P
[ 03 May 2006: Message edited by: Tony Knightcrawler ]

Brightness is also a question of how the human eye perceives color: our perception of brightness varies with color, assuming the light isnt bright enough to cause oversaturation.
Uh, I think.
