While looking for rare Star Wars craft I came across the TIE Interdictor from SW Galactic Battlegrounds and immediately thought of XWA. Is it possible to add such a craft into this game and would anyone be interested in constructing one? More info:

Stupid newb/old timer question: Darksaber's website is gone. Will this and other such custom craft on his site (TIE Phantom, Droid, GT, Scimitar...etc) ever be uploaded and put into the downloads section on this website? Or are these craft already included in the XWAU 2020 Mega Patch?

Unless Darksaber himself releases his models somewhere I am afraid the only way to get them is through the web archive. We will not be releasing any of his non-XWAU models. Not that we don't want to, we simply don't have his approval for that.

the good thing is... that Disney will probably give us back this TIE model very soon (in a different form). It is strongly rumored to appear in Star Wars: Squadrons in the same dlc in which they will put out the K-Wing.

If it is different (like some cobbled together TIE striker looking thing with four pods) then Disney can keep their illegitimate fan fiction crapcapitanguinea wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 5:04 pmDisney will probably give us back this TIE model very soon (in a different form)

To be fair anything outisde the first six movies is fan fiction except Clone Wars because Lucas actually worked on that.tt33 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 12:24 amTY very much for thatAce Antilles wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 1:43 amYou can find them here atm

Hm I was under the impression the B-Wing/Defender update was the last major one update.capitanguinea wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 5:04 pmthe good thing is... that Disney will probably give us back this TIE model very soon (in a different form). Nearly every ship they've pulled from legends so far been unchanged, so this seems like an unwarranted fear.

The Tie Interdictor is Disney Canon and Legends, it’s just that in D-canon it’s called the Tie “punisher”. The Tie Droid, Tie Ground Targeter, Tie Phantom, Tie Aggressor and Tie Oppressor are all D-canon too! Just check Wookieepedia

I don’t think the Phantom, Punisher, aggressor and oppressor are canon, I don’t know why Wook keeps insisting the board game stuff is canon. The story group has said the the FFG stuff is in a grey area since it has both canon and legends stuff. Like that mobile game ‘Galaxy of Heroes’. The only canon stuff, is stuff that has appeared in material outside of the board game sources.
A lot of the legends stuff is just reprints of older material they did, which I don’t think they really edited to make consistent with the new canon. Also the oppressor doesn’t have a canon page.
The TIE droid is canon, it showed up in one of the comics.

I think the punisher and phantom turned up in the Clash of clans type game so did the Hwk-290 which is cool. I don’t know much about the board games but I didn’t know that about their canon state, cause ig-2000 and mist hunter are showing as canon and can still be downloaded. Either way it all pales in to significance compared to the firepower of this newly released multiple (legends/canon) installs we can have now! 2020 was the best year ever!!!

@tuskin the Agressor was canon in Legends at least. Concerning Disney it is canon according to Starship and Speeders, same for the Punisher. TIE Oppressor is not canon in Disney, only in Legends it is (due to SWG)
Phantom only on the board game though, so that one definitively unclear

Starships and Speeders is one of the source books for that table top game. It includes canon ships alongside Legends ships from their previous pre-Disney source books.Rookie_One1 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 4:17 pm@tuskin the Agressor was canon in Legends at least. Those TIEs didn't but the HWK-90 did. The Hawk also showed up in a comic.
