OPT scale Discrepancies

I have a bit of confusion with the scale of the OPT models in XWA.

For example the YT-2000:
- The in-game Tech Library says its: 29m long
- The OPTech Import tool says its: 29.65m long
- I used the 3DS conversion tool and manually measured the YT-2000 mesh in "Sketchup 2016" and it was: 30.58m long.

On average the OPTech Import tool produces 3D models about 4% smaller than 3DS imports. I am confused and have no idea why this is happening.

Please help.
