Since we'll never get an official continuation of the XWA story, I was just wondering what everyone else thinks happened to the Azzameens after Endor.
Personally, I'm fairly confident Ace continued serving as a New Republic pilot. I'll also guess is that Aeron became the head of family business. Emon probably went on doing what he did during the game: Get from one fight into the next. Considering Ace, Dunari and Emon all swore revenge after what happened in the final family mission, I think Antans time after Endor was fairly limited.
That leaves the Viraxo. I can see a number of things that could have happened to them ranging from the Azzameens finally killing K'Armyn to the New Republic putting them out of business for working with the Empire in the aftermath of Endor. (Assuming they did that)
Those are just my opinions, I'm curious what everyone else thinks happened to everyone's favorite transport family

I still wonder why the Azzameens' story wasn't continued in the EU. Keyan Farlander and Maarek Stele (the protagonists of X-Wing and TIE Fighter respectively) both re-appeared in the novels, so why not doing the same for the Azzameens?
I find myself in Agreement with you Jaeven.
Who knows, maybe Antan succeeded in disappearing. Or he could've been killed in combat or captured and put on trial for his betrayal.
Same with K'Armyn Viraxo.
You know, it would be quite ironic if the New Republic seized all of Viraxo Industries' facilities and handed them over to Twin Suns Transport Services, like the Empire did with the latter during the prologue.
I also can totally see the New Republic helping Dunari in rebuilding his casino and the latter giving a discount for members of the NR military and Twin Suns Transport Services.
Regarding Ace, I think he could end up as a high ranking officer, like a General or an Admiral, towards the end of the Galactic Civil War or maybe around the time of the Vong-invasion.
Has anyone considered writing some sort of fan fiction about the Azzameens, which blends in well into the Legends-timeline?

Maybe Totally Games had planned to add an expansion like they did with all the previous X-Wing/TIE Fighter games and it got canned by LA. I mean, it's very strange how the actual story is completely unresolved. Half the game is about the Azzaameen-Viraxo conflict and towards the end it's almost completely forgotten. Likewise, I don't think the game ever revealed who betrayed the Rebels at the hospital, though I suppose it's implied Antan was responsible.Fek'LeyrTarg wrote:I still wonder why the Azzameens' story wasn't continued in the EU. As cool as it was to fly during the Battle of Endor, I'd have preferred to settle my scores with K'armyn Viraxo and dear Uncle Antan.

Pretty sure you're right about Emon at the very least. He got a card in the X-Wing Miniatures Game, and he's in the Scum & Villainy faction.

Ace was also represented in Scum and Villainy according to Wookieepedia

Edit: Woops, that is Scum and Villainy in Trading Card Game, not Miniatures
Still he has been mentioned outside of the game.
Including the Junior Level Novelization of ROTJ. Huh.

Wookieepedia says he was mentioned in connection to the theft of the Shuttle.

The XWA strategy guide mentions that Ace and Emkay were part of the Falcon's crew, with Emkay manning one of the turrets.

Well, the junior novelization is from the 80's, so I suppose they re-wrote it to account for him?Tuskin wrote:Ace was also represented in Scum and Villainy according to Wookieepedia

The thing is, he's FLYING the Falcon at Endor, and there's no way around it - the Endor missions are canon conflict.
Not a problem with the original X-Wing, btw as the game-guide says explicitly that you're Luke in those final three missions.

Looks to be a newer one. Released in 2004

Concerning Ace role, we know for sure that he didn't pilot the Falcon, and that both Blount and Airen Cracken were controlling the turrets, as such for Emkay, his role was probably as an onboard mechanic (would'nt be suprising), for ace, it's either as a mechanic, or as that man :

That's the only falcon crew member in the movie that was not identified by name, and since disney decided to throw out the expanded universe, we can be sure that we will never get an answer

Pretty sure that I read somewhere that Ace piloted a B-Wing during the Battle of Endor. Can't recall where I read that though.
