I've been trying to find some of these tracks for ages, with no success. Youtube has most of them, but a few got taken down and aren't uploaded anywhere else. I was curious if anyone had the full soundtrack ripped from the game laying around.

Just buy the Star Wars Classic Trilogy Soundtracks, you'll get more than just the XWA bits.

I'm using them in an RPG I'm running, and they're the perfect length and selection for action sequences. I have all of the trilogy soundtracks, I wasn't don't want to have to go through the trouble of editing everything...

Iirc there was an IMC music editor laying around here somewhere that made it fairly easy to extract the files from the game.

If I remember right the XvT music was stored as audiotracks directly on the game cds. It didn't change in situations and was just played "linear". XWA uses a successor or kind of the iMUSE system which changes the music dynamically fitting the situation.
It's a bit cheap but you could disable the XWA game music and play the XvT music in the background from the cd or with a mediaplayer...

I hadn't seen this topic earlier. As MajorParts somewhat mentioned, you can play and/or extract the XWA music tracks (including unique tracks like the background music in Azzameen's quarters) using a program called SCUMM Revisited, as

There's a page called "listentoyoutube", you copy and paste the link of any youtube video to that page, and it sends to you the sound in mp3...or mp4...i don't remember.
