Yeah, I read about this a long time ago. In response, someone made a Firefly-class transport in Star Wars or something.

It seems to be missing those downturned engines, but that's definitely the same profile. Sweet.

There's also a Mando heavy repeater from KotoR in Serenity.

I have a pic of the Falcon at the battle of Earth in First Contact. It's hard to find that pic, so I'll just get a new screen-cap of it. Same with the mando-repeater.

That Falcon in First Contact looks more like the main hull of a Miranda Class with just the nacells missing (probably blurred out by the distance and movement).

Well, that could be the in-universe explination, but it defenatly looks like the falcon to me, I can make out the mandibles and the cockpit on the side.

Well in the scene the "Falcon" is flying from right to left, if it would be a Miranda hull section without nacelles it would be flying from left to right..
Also i found the Lambda class shuttle in FireFly:

This looks interesting... With regards to Star Trek: First Contact, I have the DVD and I can't tell what the heck that thing is. It does fly straight out of the explosion on the side of the Borg Cube exactly like the falcon flying out of the second DS as it explodes in RotJ. It's just too small and blurry to make out though.
