That is a nice ship. I hope it is as big as it was in the movies.

It will be like when Wedge saw the Death Star "Look at the size of that thing!"

This ship is awesome, appreciate the work that went into it and all the other models on here. About the blue/white lights, though... yes it was like that in Empire, but they fixed it in Return of the Jedi and the lights are all blue. Any chance of getting an alternate version with all blue lights? I think it would just make it look that much better.

I really couldn't be happier with the ship, and I've blown it up in game somewhere around 10 or 15 times since it came out. So I'm really in no position to complain. I'm very happy with the way the ship is now.

Simple explanation for the white lights, they ran out of blue ones, they are on order but awaiting stock :D

I think it's headlights! Remember, those were the 80's, they didn't have xenon headlights then XD

Dosn't bow looks a bit monotonous without the yellow windows?

I hope this dispels the idea that the Executor / Super Star Destroyer doesn't have yellow/white lights at the front of the craft, Dragon WAS correct with his texture

Dragon please don't feel pressured to do as everyone wants, you've researched the SSD and come to the conclusion that your right!

I thought it a little weird at first to see the yellow/white light, but just searching on google I found these images, from a distance the craft does look like it has all blue lights

as in this image
tyexec03.jpg
but this is due to the over saturation of blue in the films, as seen in the link below

a comparison shot of the correctly coloured Empire Strike Back

Anyhow to the image of the SSD WITH yellow/white lights on the bow

Hey, I'm not complaining. I love the model! Did anybody else notice you can fly inside and out of the hanger bays. I'm trying to set up a mission where there are ties parked in the hanger and you fly, blow them to bits, then fly out again.

Does that sound like fun or what? ;)

I just finished a run in the new Otana vs Super Star Destroyer - Wow

No less than SIX Shield generators  LOL

I got them all down and proceeded to "skin dance" a little to finish off the hull then she decided to roll over and flyswat me out of space. LOL

She really gives an awe inspiring impression of immensity when she turns. Well done!

Thanks for the great model! :D

edit - I forgot to mention how much I loved flying in and out of the "buildings" ! Great detail ! Amazing fun!
And the hangar bay is a huge maze of Imperial goodness! - Once I managed to find the opening! LOL

Great model. Using the long version it feels so massive when flying around it.

I remember getting XWA back when it came out, once I figured out how to set the ship to stationary in the skirmish mode I used to fly along the side 'trench' of the default and pretend it was the death star trench (I was 8)

Great ship! Been looking forward to this a long time! :D

One thing though: when playing the endor missions, once you have detroyed all the domes, the Executor goes into its death dive and takes you with it by swating you. It's just so large you can't get out of its way. suffice to say the mission is broken unless you can pop the shield gens from a distance (which takes a lot of the fun away). :(
