I think it appears in one of the earlier Azzameen missions, either when they drop off the contraband or when they rescue Antan, either way it's doomed...

You're right, it appears in the mission to rescue Antan. Two of them actually. Two more appear when you save the convoy from a fleet of TIE Experimentals.

They say these are Imperial starships, but I don't recall any Imperial Star Galleons anywhere in Alliance.
