So I replaced all the hook DLLs and that improved the frame rate up to 27-28 FPS from the previous 24 FPS. Still not the 30 FPS I was seeing on 1.3 before upgrading to 1.4, though it is an improvement. Do I need to modify any of the *.cfg files?

Hi all,

Quick question. How much does the XWAUCP mess with the registry on installation? What I am getting at, is do multiple installations/ uninstallations affect the integrity of the base game install? Are there artifacts left behind in the registry of old versions? Orphaned files? I am assuming that I need to explicitly uninstall previous versions (the craft pack, not the game) before installing the new version (as opposed to simply installing the new over the old). Sorry if this has been asked and answered a million times before. Thanks!

I haven't made fps displayed so I'm not sure how much the actual value is tho I just love 1.4 :D Excellent explosion and hit effects, the new ingame HUD fonts are precisely perfect, laser tide with the new 256 count limit, detailed star-background in skirmish missions etc. No problemo with an i5-3570 and a 2 GB AMD vidcard.

XWA like never before! Nice job! :D

I wonder what will happen next. Remaking the cutscenes in 1080p Full HD perhabs? Just kidding. ;)
But I'm really amazed on what each xwaup-contributor has accomplished in the last 3 years alone. :)
