Yes folks, you heard right! An all-in-one XWAU installer! Darksaber has been working tirelessly behind the scenes and put out a great installer for all crafts that have been completed up until today. I think a round of applause is in order :)
Thanks also to all the others who have made it possible for us to come this far. The pack includes over 100 crafts all of which have been painstakingly recreated to provide the best possible look in X-Wing Alliance.

Please be aware that the XWAUCP will NOT install over the DSCUP! (Since that one includes all XWAU opts anyway) So you only need the pack if you wish to not add any non XWAU crafts. The pack will not be updated with each craft, but I am certain DS will add opts to it from time to time. All crafts that are being released in the meantime will be marked in the download page.

Some more information about the XWAUCP:

It's your Bare Bones Craft installer!

No XWA CD's required
No Shortcuts
No fancy wave files
No Pilot files
No No-CD Patch
No New Video's
No Mpeg Codec Files

Nothing just OPT's, OPT's, OPT's

It includes All the XWAU Craft updated until the 3rd of August 2012 so far.
Apart from the Modified Strike Cruiser (that wasn't included to XWA that was converted from XvT) no other Custom Opt has been added

There are only the versions of the ISD's with the destroyable guns in the pack.

It includes the DDRaw.dll for ATI video cards (ONLY) and the Font fix for Nvidia Cards, plus the new Planets.dat by DTM, which are all optional

Also all mission fixes are included, so are the different configurations of Missiles, Lasers and Ions

There is a choice of Astromech Droid as in the Droid installer R2-D2, R2-Q5 (Black) or the R5-D4
Correlian Gunship with or without Fringe
Dreadnaught Darksaber's or Jm's
Freighter Type K with or without containers
Millennium Falcon Han or Lando versions
Luxury Yacht or the Lady Luck version with guns
Slave One default green lasers, a red laser version and a yellow laser version (but has no laser sounds)
Pursuer Enforement Ship or Boba Fetts Slave Two
SSD 17.5km or 19KM versions
Tie Bomber X2 Missiles or X4 missiles
Tie Defender or Tie Defender MK2 (with the missile launcher on the side of the cockpit)
Tie Fighter standard or ANH versions
Tie Warheads standard or a version with lasers as in the Tie Int
Ywing Yellow or Red FG

All craft slots have been enabled if a user wishes to add their own choice of custom crafts.

You can find the XWAUCP on our download page!

Did you use the mission fixes I made for the DSUCP back in the day? If so it's cool to have finally contributed to this project :) (and if not then I'm just a leech as ever :D ).

Good work everyone!

I was amused by the list of things it doesn't include.

Yes it is a dumb question, read the description, it shouldn't have to be spelled out for you!!

Very nice work! Have been following this project for many years now and I'm glad that you have achieved this milestone. Thanks and congrats!

One problem I have noticed: When using the Home One in skirmish it spawns extremly far away (off scale) from the actual area of battle. Any way to fix this?

This kicks incomprehensible amounts of ass. Today is my birthday and I just saw this. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A PACK LIKE THIS FOR YEARS AND I AM SO EXCITED THAT IT IS FINALLY HERE!! A few questions:

1. Does it work with the Xwing total conversion and Tie Fighter total conversion? Also where were those again and are there guides for installation?
2. I would like to replace the "medium" calamari cruise in the main campaign with the Home One class cruiser so it is closer to the movies. Is there an easy way to do this? I think I could use the XWA tool but am not sure.

Thanks for all of your hard work. Can I donate?

Also, my former forum name was bismack1 but I forgot the password and the email account it is linked to is not defunct.

I am super stoked to try this stuff out!!

THANK YOU! Especially for the .dll which really held back my ability to play this game. Now I can on my windows 7 machine!

Maybe the .dll had been out awhile. But regardless thank you!

I've had this game since 1999, and I still love it!

The funny part is I've been trying to emulate XP which on Virtual PC couldn't take controllers. And on virtual box I couldn't get sound. Now I don't need to have XP emulated. lol

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to ask if it's normal that in story mode, in the Azzameen hangar, the little crane thingie is almost underneath the YT-1300, and it protrudes into the cockpit.

Thanks for the answer in advance!

obligatory bug report :

The PES cockpit is bugged in the pack
gauges missing and sidescreen are purples instead of "transparent"(can be resolved by reinstalling the craft itself)

R-41 Starchaser launch warheads from its cockpit
installing the craft itself did not resolve the problem, but in MXVTED, the two warhead hardpoints were sets at none, switching it to torpedo, as it is supposed to be, worked)

TIE Defender :

Wrong firing pairing in dual mode for the lasers, it's suppose to be paired in "X" like the X-Wing (top right laser with bottom left, bottom right with top left).
(fixed by editing the opt hardpoints in MXVTED)

TIE Interceptop

Wrong firing order in dual mode for the lasers, it's supposed to be the top ones together first then the bottom ones next (fixed by editing the opt hardpoints in MXVTED)

Will come back if i see anything else

Also as a PS :

DS, thinking about updating DSUSCP too ?
