Yes, you read it right. We are still at it, over ten years have passed but there's still some left kicking and determined to get the project done. This time it's General_Trageton who is presenting his awesome ATR-6:
Stunning piece of work. I always hated those ships because they are really dangerous and hard to take down, but at least now they look really cool while blowing you to bits and pieces

This is so awesome! The original was so ugly and in so many missions. Thanks!

Still after all these years it's amazing to see this forum still active. This ship is one of my favourites and you have done a superb job.

Little late, but wanted to add my voice to the chorus of praise.
It's a really beautiful opt, GT. The ATR's always been one of my favourite ship designs in XWA, and it's great to see it finally done some XWAU justice. Made me fire up XWA for the first time in a long while when I saw it had been released.
We're inching ever closer...

The new opts do look very good.
Someone just needs to implement/enable Environment Mapping to give ships shinyness. (hmm... doing some research I cant seem to find any refrences to when ENV Mapping was included in ... Id assume DX6 but it may be much later, explaining why XWA doesnt have it...)

Now with the Assault Transport completed (I really love it ) - could it be easier to update the Escort Transport as well? You know the both ships have the similiar design (Escort Transport actually looks like modification of the Assault Transport) so some parts of the model and some textures may could be used...
What do you think General_Trageton?

Yes, in fact I've been entertaining that thought while working on the ATR.
In fact, been making first plans and schedules for this one, when to start, which parts of the ATR could be "recycled" or modified.
Right now I'm busy working on .... something else ... But Force might as well put my name under that one

For the modified Escort Transport, is it me or was it to be used for the second battle ? (Secret Weapons of the Empire)
