I noticed something, the preview image in the Flight Sim for the ejected Rebel pilot shows a higher quality model, but the actual 3D model appears to still be the default model.

Well done, that's very observant, there just images, sorry if they're misleading, but they have been in the UCP from I think from the first version.

The pilots have never been updated in the UCP, there is a imperial pilot updated in the XWAUP download section, but I've never added it to the UCP as it was just as basic as the opt it would have replaced.

I've never actually used to individual pilots before, I just wanted to throw something into skirmish that wouldn't fight back, and saw the picture.

So I wasn't sure if it was an error or not.

I have a Black Screen if i target Capital Ships, if i target Fighter, all works nice.

I have a GTX 670, use xwa hacker, my Resolution is 1920x1080

Did you activate 32-bit rendering with xwahacker ? If yes, deactivate it

Darksaber ... there is a problem with the Delta JV-7 Escort Shuttle in the Hangar appears to be in separate pieces.

Hmmm.... when you say a problem in the hangar, how do you mean? Have you been switching and renaming craft, if so you'll have to rename the EscortShuttleSfoils.txt and the ShuttleSfoils.txt

If not could you explain how the escort shuttle is in the hangar please :D

Yeah that's right, they are the settings, I've just checked the opt against them, and they are correct.

but I'm still confused how you have the escort shuttle in the hangar, have you or haven't you switched the Shuttle for the Escort Shuttle by renaming one to the other, if so you'll have to do the same for the Sfoils.txt files

No Darksaber... I just checked the Shuttle.Opt it's fine, in the Rebel Hanger. The EscortShuttle.Opt is in the Imperial Hanger

How have you got the Escort shuttle in the imperial hangar??????????????, I haven't got the imperial hangar installed, but I've looked at the files that install for the imperial hangar, files like the HangarObjects.txt or the HangarMap.txt and the Escortshutlle is not mentioned.

Just please, please, please explain how you have the escort shuttle in the hangar please, please, please, have you changed any of the files to include the escort shuttle??

Sorry mate but a picture won't explain how the escort shuttle got in the hangar, please just try to explain in words what you did to have the escort shuttle in the hangar, with out an explanation I can't help. I've check all of the txt files in the DSUCPv2.4 and not one mentions the Escort shuttle.

So you must have edited something to include the escort shuttle.

Ok, remember how I did the ImperialHangar.opt? All I did was made sure they were added in the flightmodels folder:

There supposed to be a backslash between Flightmodels and the craft name but it's not shown in this forum

If you've selected the Imperial Hangar upon installation of the DSUCPv2.4 the default hangar.opt is the imperial hangar and is not named ImpHangar.opt so I'm not sure where your getting that from

So unless you've started renaming files the line FlightModelsHangar.opt = FlightModelsImpHangar.opt is obselete

the line FlightModelsEscortShuttle.opt = FlightModelsEscortShuttle.opt wouldn't work because the escortshuttle is not by default placed in the hangar the line should be FlightModelsShuttle.opt = FlightModelsEscortShuttle.opt this way your replacing the Shuttle.opt with the EscortShuttle.opt

ImpHangarSkipray.opt and the ImpHangarGunboat.opt no longer exists in the DSUCPv2.4 the lines should be
FlightModelsAssaultGunboat.opt = FlightModelsAssaultGunboatExterior.opt
FlightModelsSkiprayBlastBoat.opt = FlightModelsSkiprayBlastBoatExterior.opt

Sorry but if your editing these files yourself, it's on you're own head, I can't help you, it's you who's making the problems. If you where having problems with an untouched, fresh install of either DSUCPv2.4 or XWAUCPv1.4 I could and would help :D

Darksaber... My Imperial Hangars are fine now.... been replace with the Shuttle.Opt instead of the Escort Shuttle Opt.

SMALL UPDATE TO THE DSUCPv2.4

I apologises for this but I've had to make a small update to the DSUCPv2.4 installer. Due to an Offset added to the XwingAlliance.exe which was reportedly to stop the game crashing with resolutions higher than H >1200, but instead of stopping the game crashing it actually caused the game to crash lol.

I've removed the offset from the installer fixing the problem, plus I've also fixed a small problem with the Shuttle.opt as lasers where firing from the centre of the opt, lastly I've fixed a skirmish picture dat file that was displaying a Dreadnaught instead of the Assault Frigate.

Again I apologises for the inconvenience, but could you re-download and install the DSUCPv2.4 again please.

Reminds me to ask, if the Lambda Shuttle's rear turret mesh were redesigned as a rotating mesh would that be a viable solution to prevent it's laser from firing through the front of the cockpit/hull ? Maybe it's not a related issue, but I thought that was the cause when i did some testing. Also was thinking maybe 180 degree firing arc of the current mesh is wrong? ... the Up:, Look:, Right: vector values.

@DS, small bug concerning Starfighter skills evaluation test mission (1b0m9w), TIE Fighters that come out of the Marut are equipped with heavy rockets. Since they are not equipped with the hardpoints on the OPT, it cause the nice bug of them shooting hundreds of heavy rockets

Thanks Rookie, the original missions had the Tie's with Heavy Rockets, but the rockets where removed in previous version of the DSUCP and XWAUCP, but since we went back to the original missions to add a NEW Starfield Backdrops, the Rockets where again in the missions. I've now removed the rockets and documented the removal so if it crops up again I'll know.

Just replace with this version of the missions

BTW, just thought about something that would had made a nice addition. even though that for DSUCP the answer will probably be no (could be nice for XWAUP through), why not finally enable the modified escort transport and use it for Battle 2 for the controller craft instead of the stock ETC :p :D

Another bug for you DS, this time in the new TIE Defender OPT

Instead of the X-pattern when firing lasers in dual-linked, we got the top-bottom pattern instead. Cannonically speaking, it's supposed to be the X pattern :p

Simply exchanging the xyz hardpoint location between Mesh 4 and 5 through MXVTED resolved the issue
