OPTing

This section contains everything about OPTing, i.e. the process of turning model and textures into an ingame XWA object (.opt). This includes:

  • Importing the model
  • Defining hitzones and explosion types
  • Importing and mapping textures
  • Adding illumination & transparency
  • Adding hardpoints
  • Adding engine glow
  • Adding transformation animations
  • Adding Cockpit POV (for flyable craft)
  • Adding LOD models
