Hello all,
First of all — I knew XWAU was still chugging along but I'm amazed this username I made in middle school still works. I'm in my 30s now
I'm not looking for an OPT but rather an old fan-made design that I know existed as an OPT at one point. I think Darksaber was the one who had made it but obviously his website no longer exists.
Here's what I can remember: the design was a starfighter for a fan-made race. The creator had a website where he posted models and custom action figures he built, including his fan race. The starfighter was aquatic capable as well and had an interesting, organic profile that has stuck with me over the years and is why I'm trying to find it now. It was sort of manta shaped, with an arm extending out from one side that swept in front of the ship and had a sort of weapons pod on it.
Hope someone can figure it out. Thanks
Edit: You know, a few minutes after posting this I found an older post with a link to Darksaber's nearly-perfectly preserved site on the Wayback Machine and found what I was looking for — it was the Sierran Rapier: https://web.archive.org/web/20200512094 ... ghter%20v2

I remember that ship. Also, had no idea about the creator. Those models are beatiful. I need a missileboat to round of my collection but my god 500 USD? Sheesh. I spent less to fully build my TIE pilot outfit (but not by much).

Yeah those prices are entirely obscene. I can buy a 3d printer, models, and all the materials needed to print several of those for the same price or less than he's charging for the stupid kit.
I don't care how "good" that guy's content is, there's plenty of STLs and pre-printed items you can buy for a fraction of the price that are just as good if not better in some cases.
