XWA Upgrade

Hi guys,
I'm a new member of the comunity sorry for my bad English.
after 10 years rearranging the cd drawers I rediscovered this fantastic simulator, I tried to install it on my system with Win 8.1 but unfortunately I can't install it because the installation program doesn't start. Do you have any idea how to solve the problem? I tried to look in the forum but my english is not advanced enough in fact I use google translate. Many thanks in advance

You're probably best to get rid of the CDs now as they are old and incompatible in a lot of ways.
Buy the game digitally from somewhere like Gog to make starting simpler.
