Hello! I’m going to play through XWA with your upgrade and I’m using a MotionNJoy adapter for a PS3 controller as I did in previous play throughs.

My main question: is there a way to make the game ignore the right thumbstick? Turning off the rudder in game helps the backwards rolling but it still toggles random speed settings when moved other directions. I’d like to know if there’s a way to make the game just ignore it.

The left thumbstick works great. Last time I played a few years ago I used the right thumbstick on xpadder to map out target selection options. I intend to do the same again. Also is there a video or anything out there explaining the new joystick configuration addition? I get the button mapping but I don’t understand the first page, aside from the hat button toggling.

Thank you for your time and excellent work in continuing the upgrade.

Hello,
With the hook, the axis can be replaced but not disabled.

Thanks for the reply! How might this be done? How do I replace it? By hook do you mean the controller option thing? Like I said, don’t really understand the first page of it, aside from turning the direction hat to buttons

Hello,
You can replace the axis used for thruttle and the axis used for rudder.
Write the index of the axis to use, starting at 0. 0 is the first axis, 1 is the second axis, ...
