BoY Shipset, what's the progress? And about the BoH shi

Ok so I want the first want the 1st question answered and want to know more about the missions that take up before the BoY and do you later on, Ace or Abolisher, do you plan to have new mission covering the evacuation from Yavin after the Battle of Yavin? Abolisher you could do that as part of your planet landscape since the missions for those opt if I recall are standalone. And after BoY shipset do you plan to make in the BoH shipset some missions related to Rebels moving to Hoth and establishing their Echo Base and then have into the BoH mission have you with a team of speeders search for Luke and then have the Imperial walkers arrive? And how will the legs of the walkers be animated and have the speeders use their cables. I like Abolsher's missions so later after playing the BoY shipset I would like to play your of version of the BoH shipset as I haven't seen much with Cloud's BoH shipset. There will be three missions in the BoY:<P><B>Escape from Tatooine</B><P><B>Escape from the Death Star</B><P><B>The Battle of Yavin</B><P>The titles should be self-explanitory as to what each mission is about. There will not be a mission depicting the escape from Yavin IV in this shipset. However, this might be done in the <B>XWA Atmospheric Expansion</B>, a project I have yet build a page for on my site.<P>I don't have any specific plans for a Hoth shipset. Therefore, there is no answer to the questions about Imperial Walkers, tow cables, snowspeeders, etc. This is because no decent snowspeeder OPT exists yet for XWA and because tow cables and Imperial Walkers with animated legs cannot work with the XWA game engine. To <B>Cloud's</B> credit, he came up with a neat sounding idea to work around this problem, but his procedure would be buggy at best not to mention "unrealistic" with respect to Star Wars realism. If there is a Hoth mission in the XWA Atmospheric Expansion, it will have something to do with escorting the transports to safety after the base has been overrun.<P>If you want walkers and tow cables, just wait for the Hoth Shipset. Ah, and about the docking model. I now have alot of free time and will finish it very soon :D all it needs is the overhangs and pillars.
When a cat is dropped, it always lands on its feet, and when toast is dropped, it always lands with the buttered side facing down. I propose to strap buttered toast to the back of a cat; the two will hover, spinning inches above the ground. With a giant buttered cat array, a high-speed monorail could easily link New York with Chicago.

At Ace Antilles' site, the first mission is to capture the Tantive IV (your on the Imp.'s side). Did this mission get scratched?

Hmmm, good point. I don't know the status of that mission since I'm not involved with that aspect. That was Ace's idea.<P>Good to hear your status <B>Freelancer</B>. I hope to see your model soon so we can finally wrap up this project.

Wouldn't a Capture Tantive IV be kinda pointless, although the only fighters we know are involved are modified bombers to carry prisoners, and they would need escort so I guess you could build a mission around that. If you do though how will you explain switching to the rebels mid battle?

I eventually hope to update that mission so that you actually get to land on Tatooine rather than just having to fly to the hyper buoy.

Well every things going nice. I had to ask about the BoY shipset since I haven't heard much lately. So thanks. Hey Freelancer as soon as you finish your opt post some new screenshots. Thats of course when you can. <P>Abolisher just incase remember Knight Hawk? Well that's me. Since I don't want to get off topic could you email me on any info related to any future plans on your XWA Atmospheric Expansion. squall@prw.net . I would like to know more about it, your moons 1 shipset is good and although there's no gravity at least its something different. Thx for the info on the BoY shipset and hope to see more. ;)
