How to increase Capital Ship's Turbo Laser range?

Hello

One of the things I wanted to do with XWA was to pilot a Capital Ship and do Ship to Ship combat.
However, their turbolaser cannons can only reach 1.5km away.
How can you extend this range and still fire from a large number of turrets?

I've tried using MXvTEd v4.2, weapon editor and changing the performance of the spaceships, but it doesn't work.

If you know how to do this, please let me know. :hilfe:

Projectile duration time would change the range. I also think projectile speed could affect it as well. Try experimenting with those.

This is a vid show us ISD v.s.ISD in the situation of not modified spaceship's spec.
Their turrets works only four klicks below.

If to increase their cannon's range, it is need to modify of ship's spec or projectile's spec?

And, is it possible to modify by MXvTEd v4.2?
