WIP: Seraphim Remake

Been a while since've updated the place, SWTOR being in no small part responsible. Nevertheless I haven't been idle at all, lots of work going on behind closed doors. To give you a climps here's an update on the Seraphim overhaul.

What I did here was to completely reshape the ship's engine section, making it about 100m longer and more defined. I always felt the stern looked kinda chopped off and I think to remember the reason for this was me being to lazy to whip up a proper stern - a flaw I intend to iron out now. Apart from that there's numerous detail updates here and there, a lot of which aren't visible in the first place as they concern the ship's interior. (yeah, seriously!). Still being a ship of over 900m there's a lot of work left to do before I can showcase anything from inside.
But time will come and patience be rewarded. For now, enjoy!

I really like the design of that ship. The design reminds me a lot on the designs from Wing Commander. :)

Wow, that looks awsome.

Now, not to complicate things too much, but I wounder if these updates should comprise a second patch that anyone with a PC of now must use, however it leaves the lesser poly updates for machines of a couple of... well... more than a couple of years ago.

I guess you could call the point mute in that there are not many who still play this game, and those that do have pretty high specs.

Actually this HD version isn't really intended for XWA. I picture it more for use in render scenes or an independent FPS I'm sort of working on myself. Once it's completed to a degree I will likely make a version for XWA and, dispite the jump in graphics, will likely stick to the traditional way to ensure everyone is able to play it.
