New release! XQ1 Platform v1.0

Vince T has been working on Platforms! Stations are an area very rarely seen so this is a treat.

There are 5 flightgroup colours including the Outpost D-34 from TIE Fighter.



Using new Hangar Hook updates there are 3 subtly different Hangar Maps in one INI file = Rebel, Imperial and Neutral.
If you have the Platform set as your Base in a mission the hangar you land on will change depending on your Faction.

I appreciate getting fancy to show off the FG colors instead of simple images :thumbs:

I screwed up Vince's great work and missed some files.
The original installer is fixed now.

Fantastic, Vince!

I love how it's still the same basic design, just prettier! Great job, and I love the hangar flexibility as well!

Yeah for the PLTs I wanted to stay as close to the source material as possible, the PLT2 probably being the only exception, but we'll get to that in due time :D

Looks great! I signed up to post a possible docking issue with this beauty though. I'm on the "Destroy Hurrim Base" mission and the Assault Trans blows up every time it finishes docking with the platform.

OK, I've just tested that mission and without issue.(Well I had to go invincible, as after 20 years my piloting sucks! :D)
Please make sure that your hooks are all up-to-date. You can get XWA Hook Setup from the Tools Section on the Download page.

Mine were not so got that taken care of and re-ran it. This time was able to just watch the ATR. It undocked successfully, so I set my sights on the ISD. "ATR Omega 1 has been destroyed". It must have flown into the platform...lol. I think this may be a post for the bugs/mission flow section.

Hi I just played the mission and watched ATR 1 to see what the problem was, it successfully docks with the platform but when it finishes it runs into the platform and blows up, I think the problem is where the ATR is docking because I played the base game with no update and the ATR docks on the top of platform in a different location where after it's done docking it doesn't run into the platform

XQ2 Platform v1.0 from Vince T is now available in our XWAU 2020 Mega Patch: Update 1!!

Vince has made another brilliant Station to use in game with HD textures and lots more detail than the original.

It also has 4 full 4 subtly different Hangar Maps depending on your Faction.

Lastly there has been a few fixes to the Platform 1 too.
XQ1 Platform v1.1 – Fixed misaligned turret rotation axes. Improved some texture Illuminations. Optimized file size by splitting FG Color textures from non-FG Color textures.

I'm looking forward to Platforms 3 and 4!

The XQ2 looks absolutely amazing! Great Job! Are you going to put the opt as a single installer in the Archive in case you need to install it individually?
