German Audio / Text

Hello Forum,

first: Thank you so much for bringing Tie Fighter to the next level ! I´m playing XWAU and TFTC for weeks now and ... it´s just mind blowing to play best games ever with such an amazing graphic !

i´ve tried to search the forum, but i didn´t find a post with my question, so ...

Is there a solution to get the texts and the audio-files of TFTC in German ?

Currently the TFTC is only available in English as far as I know.

Could it be possible, that i produce the german audio files by myself ?
I´m a professional studio musician, so ... if i`d know about the 'stucture' of the english files (path, file format, ...), i could try / and share, if it´s working

I found a lot of WAV-files, but never mind, which one is used in TFTC ...

That's something that @AngeI might be better able to answer. One good starting point would be to go into the games directory and then check here:
TotalConverter\TFTC\Wave\
Here you will find all TFTC special sound files, with the majority of important files in the Frontend and MissionVoice folders.

Note that editing those will not change the files used in game if you already have the TFTC active. Those are just the files used for switching between the installs. (At least that's how I remember it working)

I will check the files, maybe i will be able to find out, which files are used - the synchronisation of all files would maybe take2 months
