Hello everyone.
I recently stumbled across this youtube video here...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tunnXeG0LVU
It seems this guy has been able to get XvT running in widescreen 1080p at 60fps with hardware acceleration and Anti Aliasing enabled.
I've been searching around for the past hour and have not been able to find out how this guy was able to achieve this. I would really love to go back and play the XvT Balance of Power campaign again. If anyone could help me figure out how to get XvT to run like this I would really appreciate it.

You use a new Ddraw and the 60 FPS Hook afaik
https://github.com/rdoeffinger/xwa_ddraw_d3d11/releases
DO NOT use the Hook with XWA

XvT support max 640x480 resolution, but probably your monitor can stratch to fullscreen like in your video.

Watch the video in high quality. You can clearly see the game is running at a native 1920X1080.

I dragged and dropped and it didn't change anything. Am I supposed to do something else??
To the billionth decimal place, Gravity = Expansion; therefore the Universe comes from NOTHING and there is no invisible magic skydaddy.

ISSUE SOLVED: I went to https://github.com/rdoeffinger/xwa_ddraw_d3d11/releases and downloaded the xwing_ddraw_d3d11_1.5.14.zip There are a few OTHER files in there that you install the same way. With blurry setting THAT brought me to good detailed res like you see in the video. So I did that ASIDE from the 60 fps zip file.
Would be great if we could extend our field of vision, rather than be stuck with a square screen. But I don't want stretched ovals for my front and rear radar like in the video...
